LASA Virtual Forum Presentation

Heathcote Dementia Alliance were invited to present their Bush Inspired In Home Care Model at the LASA Home Care Virtual Forum on September 8.

Our presentation gave an overview of the work Heathcote Dementia Alliance is doing in supporting innovative environmental design responsive to the needs of older Australians with dementia. We explored planning for dementia design at home to improve consumer transition to residential care (or an equivalent supported accommodation environment) to ensure those living with Dementia have access to necessary care and support but  can also access continuity in the maintaining of a home-like care experience.
